X99 and El Capitan Install and Misc

Dang! I envy your CPU. Probably one of the best out there. I'm doing 1.295 @4.5 (45x100) with 2400Mhz mem.

ikr! By the way, I just noticed your GB3 score on your sig. I might as well ask an off topic question. What's your CPU clock speed and CPU voltage including your XMP profile?

X99 and El Capitan Install and Misc

I finally fixed my inconsistent CPU clock speeds in El Cap by running Windows 10 Pro! Kidding aside, I'm still lurking in the forums looking for some fixes. Currently, I'm sticking with 10.10.5 while keeping 10.11 in my other SSD.

Yup, I'm down 4K points in GB3. I don't know if it's just reading the CPU clock speed wrong or it's really causing the CPU clock speed to fluctuate.

It fluctuates like crazy. I didn't OC for this test so I should hit 3.6GHz turbo clock speed (stock). However, it fluctuates as I did Geekbench 3. I also noticed the fluctuation in CPU clock speed even in the HWMonitor app. It stays at 1.2GHz minimum and 3.3GHz max. I only noticed this issue...

Can you point me to a working Intel Power Gadget for my proc? I downloaded the one from Intel's website and it said my CPU isn't supported.

X99 and El Capitan Install and Misc

For what it's worth, I put all three kexts (FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement & VoodooTSCSync) in all three folders 10.10, 10.11 & Other. I really didn't change anything in my config.plist from my working 10.10.5 one. I'm almost certain I didn't need kext-dev-mode=1. @kduvernay I'll...

X99 and El Capitan Install and Misc

I finally got it working but unfortunately not using this guide. It's the least I expected and it worked with direct upgrade from 10.10.5 to 10.11 using tony's guide. It's crazy but I think I'll just have to wait for a fully working new install guide on El Capitan later. Everything's working...

I've been through 3 X99 El Cap guides. Like others, no joy here as well.

Big List of Solutions for El Capitan Install Problems

I tried nv_disable=1 to no avail. I still get the same scenario when running verbose..it stops at PCI Config and then it throws that MBCT error. When booting up in safe mode, it reboots at the same place at PCI Config. No joy. :banghead:

    [ISSUE] MISSING Bluetooth Controller Transport

Yep, this MBCT error after PCI Config is everywhere. I'm still trying to find a solution. Hopefully, somebody fixes it so on.

[/LIST] Boot stops at PCI Config > MBCT error and then you'll see the white prohibited sign on a black screen. I hope somebody out there fixes this soon. :banghead:

System Won't Boot Into El Capitan Installer From USB

Same exact error from the other thread. I thought this were just isolated cases. I cannot boot successfully from USB Installer. :banghead:

X99 and El Capitan Install and Misc

FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement and VoodooTSCSync. They are both in 10.11 kexts folder within EFI and S/L/E folder.

X99 and El Capitan Install and Misc

No go. My hack reboots after PCI Config using safe mode which is basically the bluetooth transport controller error part.

I can't seem to get the "root:" prompt. I tried booting with only -s and it still gives me the same bluetooth transport controller error. :banghead:
