I also tried this https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/adding-using-hidpi-custom-resolutions.133254/
but was able only to switch it to 1920x1080 on DVI cable
still no native resolution 2560x1440 . this is really weird..
Thank you for your time.
It doesn't help. Still get "failed to initialize graphics firmware" during boot,
acceleration seems to be working fine but still no native resolution, monitor is recognized as 28 inch 1600x1200 (when in fact it should be 2560x1440)
aargh
Seems like I'm the only one with this problem.
I cannot get integrated Intel HD 530 to display native resolution on my 27 inch DELL 2711 monitor (2560x1440).
Thing is this is my second install on same hardware and first time I managed to get it working somehow, now I cannot do it.
I use iMac...
First, thank you very much for taking time to respond.
Second, I realized I'm missing 'fcvo' patch, and found this thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312759-fix-macos-sierra-dp1-bcm94532z-wifi/
however, I'm not sure how do I apply this patch, where do I find this "Kext...
Hi, I have a Z170N-Gaming5 (Gigabyte) MB and I bought "Broadcom BCM94352Z M.2 NGFF 802.11AC 867Mbps BT 4.0 DW1560 for Mac Hackintosh" M.2 card for 30$ on ebay and switched original card for that one...
I solved it. Not sure how :S
I manually typed 1500 MB Vram into clover config, Put back Inject intel (now it shows INtel HD 530 again in system report) and used iMac 17,1 definition.
Reconnected DVI-D cable and it just worked
**** me..
I tried both HDMI and DVI, HDMI gives fullHD as max resolution (which Pixel Clock patch promises to solve but no luck there) and DVI gives max 1600x1200
I tried Inject INTEL on and off and both work the same, I get acceleration but no native resolution.
I did get different graphics card info...
Hi, this is my second build, I cannot seem to force the integrated graphics to display full size resolution on my 27 inch DELL monitor (2560x1440) I keep getting 1600x1200. I am connecting with DUAL-DVI cable (not HDMI)
Now, I did inject INTEL and acceleration seem to work, picture is nice...
nope, just DVI, have a second monitor tough (VGA) attached to integrated graphics, that one works fine, so both screens now have proper resolution (2560x1440 on dell u2711 and 1920x1080 on VGA some cheap LG)
to have both monitor boot up with proper resolution I had to
*disable full screen...
If I don't "inject" Nvidia, then I get Kernel panic, I tried setting video card memory size manually in clover configurator but still no luck, still OS X default driver
thank you for your answer!
If I understand you correctly, I should disable "Inject Nvidia" in clover bootloader? But leave "nvidia web driver" (cannot remember exactly the settings I'm @ work now, have to check it when I get home)
Hi, sorry for posting but I'm kinda stuck, I have this new config:
MB: Gigabyte GA-Z170M-DH3
Intel Core i5-6600K
8 GB Ram
Asus Geforce GTX750Ti
I installed OS Sierra but I cannot make Nvidia web drivers to load. I tried "everything" including this...
