Mac App Store access with NullEthernet.kext
No worries bud. I've got it all sorted out now. (Ran Probook installer a second time)
You can clean up these posts now if you'd like.
Edit: Thanks for the support, you do great work around here..
Mac App Store access with NullEthernet.kext
Because I am experiencing the exact same issues with my internal as those described in this thread and wanted to seek input if this method may possibly fix my issue as well.
Someone forgot to tell my App Store.
I'm not getting the App Store to load but am on internal ethernet. Am I looking at another possible issue than what this fix takes care of?
I followed this guide and everything else seems perfect!
@RehabMan
I just found an HP Probook 4540s on craigslist for 50 bucks. He said "The hard drive crashed because windows loads really slow" :silent:
Anyway
I noticed that you have the 4530s.. Is it safe to say that I can find a good set of files around here for this laptop? Id also like to run...
Done. Working. Wheww. Threw Clover EFI onto the EFI partition. I had to change the filesystem to msdos of my previously wiped out EFI partition. Other than that, went smooth.
One thing that I am now confused about is what system is controlling my OSX startup config? I am still configuring...
I worded that slightly wrong. The computer can see the SSD and can boot to it with the Unibeast USB. It's the bios that does not know how to boot the drive any more.
I'm going to give Clover a try. Do I need to do any cleanup with the newly installed Chimera boot loader prior to installing...
Know anything about Aptio Bios?
After the OSX install, ran Multibeast and threw the bootloader in.. Computer cannot see the HDD
Go into setup and notice that there no longer is a boot option listed and I am not sure of how to find the correct info to rebuild it.
Flag "-v IGPlatformID=01660009" gets me into the gray screen but the color wheel keeps spinning.
This is progress..
Should I throw a dart=0 in there, or maybe bring it into safemode?
Sounds like you want to do real work on your new machine. With that said, it's always good to avoid Dev previews and betas..
I would stick with 10.9 if I were you..
I get the same thing, Here are a few photos of the two outputs:
Example one:
Code:
-v IGPlatformID=01660004 GraphicsEnabler=No IGPEnabler=Yes dart=0
Renders:
Example two:
Code:
-v IGPlatformID=01660004 GraphicsEnabler=No IGPEnabler=Yes
Renders:
Thanks for taking a look at these..
I am having a very hard time getting my system to boot into the installer. (Followed Unibeast 4.0.2)
After weeks of reading and trying many different guides, I am stuck with three different failing results depending on which flags I use.
Example One:
Code:
-v
Renders:
Hanging install after...
I'm running an Asus Zenbook UX31A and cannot get into the installer for the life of me. It just hangs after Completing the Bluetooth controller.
I've dug through every guide, studied every boot flag, tried many different usbs... Nothing seems to work!
