Well now I seem more f***ed than before. I turned to integrated graphics and loaded optimized defaults. Unplugged the graphics card and mac ssd and now when I reboot to the USB my monitor says I have no input, my mobo is not putting out any graphics at all.... now I can't see anything...

I'll give this a try, one current issue I'm having is that when I try to boot using the USB I just get a black screen with a blinking cursor, like there's nothing happening. Will report back.

I'll see if I can boot today but yesterday after I did all the above steps everything seemed to work fine. I think the biggest issue was the Intel Graphics was enabled.

If I boot using only nv_disable=1 it will boot but it's just lagging on refresh rate. I did add kexts to try to get my wireless adapter working on Yosemite. Here is my plist It shows that I'm using the CUDA drivers, should I download the 343 series drivers?

ok so a lot happened yesterday. I got booted on the drive using -v nv_disable=1 -no-zp and ncpi=0x2000. When I got in I added ncpi=0x2000 to my boot flags and nvda_drv=1. Once I did that I was able to boot and reboot no issues. I came back today, tried to boot up and got the same thing I had...

So I finally got everything up and running, except my wireless usb adapter, and was thinking. For my graphics card right now I had to add nvda_drv=1 to my plist so if I switch the the 980 now should I have to change anything?

If I am looking to upgrade from a GTX 760 to a 980 will it be as simple as just swapping out the card or will it be more involved? Has anyone done this or can any provide some info on how it should be done? I'm running windows 7 and mountain lion Thanks in advance!
