Eventually I switched to the Ubuntu USB stick method - it was a lot simpler than I thought and I managed to do it straight away lol -_-

Dude, just been having the same problem. I loaded the optimised (default) BIOS settings and restarted - managed to get to the clover screen - i.e. further than ever before lol!
