Applied successfully several updates on my El Capitan setup.
The sound still works, the brightness and sound buttons work too.
The sleep works just fine: no pb with sound or ethernet at wake-up. May be, if I feel very very brave, I'll take off the wifi/BT card from my 4530s if it's compatible.

I'll try a HDMI TV if I my father has a spare cable. Otherwise I'll try that when I get back home. I can try both an old flat screen and a HD monitor on HDMI.
Used the latest PBI CE; everything works just fine.
I'm happy. I'm not much of a hacker when it comes to this kind of stuff, so I really thank you both for all your help.
Will check that.
blink screen fixed my garbled login window. There's certainly a cleaner solution but it will do for now (I'm lagging seriously behind my planned developments).
I have to fiddle with the plist to run it only once after boot, not when I login too, etc. I still plan to play...
It's the original ACPI of my HD EFI partition.
I just fixed the battery by patching DSDT and installing the ACPIBatteryManager.kext.I had to modify battery_HP-ProBook-4x0s-G1.txt to get past one error when compiling with iasl.

It was installed by following the classic Clover UEFI method.
I did a manual...

Hi,
Can you give some details about how you did it ? I have a 470 G2, with i7, but the best I managed was with a manual installation of Clover and barely usable graphics (7MB of video RAM)
The PBI CE doesn't work as it used to do on my 4530s. It panics right at the end of the installation...
