Are you using a usb port with your virtual box. I have fusion w/ xp box & I was copying files from an usb external hdd and my cpu fan sped up alot, like I was benchmarking. If you go to fusion forum you might find more answers there.

@ Herb, if you open up NVOEnabler kext plist and scroll down to the bottom you'll see ATI Radeon HD 4890. Just change it to your card, It is just cosmetic. Same thing happened to me, took 3 weeks to find it. Were you using NVOEnabler before the update...
