Installation:
BIOS to ACHI mode
Create a bootable USB stick 8GB
Boot from USB after rebooting system

the new code is not working either. I think I might need to recreate my bootable USB drive and install Mavricks again or intall Chameleon as boot loader
It's not working again.
I try this in terminal:
cp "/Volumes/USB/mach_kernel " "Volumes/MavricksHD"
then I download:
FakeSMC kext
NullCPUPowerManagement kext
still not working again

Hi, Does anyone here have problem with marvicks booting up. I successfully created my bootable USB drive in Unibeast and then when I'm going to boot from it, I get the black screen or a quick flashing apple logo and a reboot. Any solution. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks...
I encounter a similar problem even when I download the mavricks from apple store. Here is now I fix my Installation Failed. I download this " Apple Software Installer Update 1.0 installed" Note: that is for snow leopard 10.6.8. So that is now I fix my thang....hope it helps!!! Please refer...

Hi, I don't know why I follow this guide but I still can't get the Unibeast work.
I download the Marvicks 10.9.3 directly from the apple store and follow along the step.
No matter how many times I try to install it, I always get the same error, installation failed.
I also follow the Unibeast...

lol good catch. It happens to me too. Please lets me know if ur unibeast is working cuz mine isnt working even when I follow every step. I get the" installation Failed" after I click continue to install

if it doesn't work, I am going to stick with window 7 forever because you know I have spent 3 full days for this and may be other people too...
I didn't use Unibeast to create my bootable usb but I manually create it by using disk utility > restore
drag file then I use terminal > default....true > killfinder and last I copy the package to my usb and then
terminal > default....false > killfinder ...That is it. Sorry if I confuse you...
Same here but did you get this error message "can't find mach_kernel" when you hit enter your bootable USB? How about a quick flashing of the apple logo and then reboot?
I love apple product but I just hate their software "Mac os x" they make my life so difficult.
