Can't boot from hard drive with Clover UEFI

Ok, I'm just giving this thread a bump. Recently I wiped my whole system and reinstalled from Unibeast (NOT the very newest one 6.2.0, but 6.1 something). Anyway, STILL exact same issue. My machine doesn't recognize my main hard drive as bootable. I get a black screen on boot telling me to...

Can't boot from hard drive with Clover UEFI

I have enabled the UEFI in the BIOS. Oddly, my USB bootable drive (that has Unibeast installed) doesn't even have an EFI folder. I think this error started for me when I tried installing Windows 8.1 on a TOTALLY SEPARATE drive (although that completely failed as well, some odd issue with this...

Can't boot from hard drive with Clover UEFI

I'm with you. Clover has been the BAIN of my existence since attempting the switch back in late November. Now, I too have the boot issue explained in Post #1. :-( Going to TRY the EFI copy mentioned...

Multibeast error - Failed to Install Check Log...Please help!

Ok, so I DID find one solution that worked. I have a Bluetooth Dongle and connected a Bluetooth speaker through that! Works great :) Not ideal, but better than NO sound. :)

Multibeast error - Failed to Install Check Log...Please help!

Grrr... so frustrated with this. I've tried SO many different "work arounds" and "solutions" but NOTHING is working :( Actually at one point one of the "solutions" forced me to input my Admin Password every time so I could access Dropbox. And then at another point one of the solutions broke...

Multibeast error - Failed to Install Check Log...Please help!

So I tried this three times. The first two times I didn't realize there were three commands in the Post #5 list. Then when I noticed that I was hopeful... but alas, still no go. I'm just trying to load the ALC898 audio drivers. Thoughts on other workarounds I might try (with or without...

    OS X 10.10.5 Update

Did you figure out the freezes? I'm getting the same thing. This use to be fairly random in the past. Then I read about the USB drivers causing issues and reloaded Multibeast without the "USB 3.0" and that stopped the freezing. (this was on 10.10.4 and below) Now it's like clockwork...

Something went wrong with MultiBeast 7.3 install

I had 10.10.10.3 working fine (I know, I shouldn't have messed with it if it was working well), but after installing the full "DSDT Free" plus a couple added items like the 1080 graphics, the HWMonitor stuff, 898 sound card stuff, and a couple other small things. Well, after rebooting I get to...

    Can't find /System/Library/kernels/kernel

Damn it. This didn't work for me. I've tried SO many things. So frustrated! Deleted the Kernel references in the /Extra/org.blah.blah blah file. Created the second FAT partition. Tried all of this during the "upgrade" part of the install and it didn't work, so I figured the upgrade part...

    MultiBeast Settings for Higher Stability/Performance

Hi All! This is my third build of my Hackintosh. The first two times only lasted two weeks before lockups and freezes became the norm. I believe this build is more solid, but just in the past couple days I've started noticing a couple freezes that are really annoying. So, since I don't...

    Asus PCE-AC68 802.11ac card

I just installed the AC68 about a week ago. Disappointed to not have the 1300 as well. But thanks to all for the tips and kext info. Still waiting to hear about how to get this thing fully operational. Interfaces: en1: Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x14E4, 0x85DF) Firmware Version...

Installing Mac OSX 10.9.3 using Unibeast problems

Well, I tried again recently. Remade the Unibeast with 10.9.3, used Mulit-Beast 6.3. And I actually have been up and running again for about two weeks now. What a frustrating pain in the ass though. I did actually have to load and operate (not to mention BUY) Windows. So stupid. I pulled...

I'm having a VERY VERY similar issue. Seems like I get different errors each time I try to boot from the USB now. :(

Installing Mac OSX 10.9.3 using Unibeast problems

I've been killing myself for like three days on this same issue! Arhgggg! I successfully installed and had 10.9.3 running... I thought. And then after about the third reboot, it tanked. I've been trying SO many different things to recover it's awful. :( So, here are the things I've tried...
