UtterDisbelief's B760 and i5-14600K CPU Build

My god that case is BEAUTIFUL. I've got the Fractal Meshify 2 Compact in white... and eventhough it's nice as well, I'm tempted to just do a complete case swap.

I've had a few Fractal Designs cases over the years, but the quality of this one is the best yet. :)

Cheers. Appreciated. Must admit I was a little out of my comfort zone to start with, never having gone beyond 10th gen at this point. All fine though.

:)
I know the feeling exactly, I moved up to 11th with a Z590 and found my self in world of pain. Got it sorted in a fashion but was not entirely happy with the performance, possibly expecting the same outcome or performance as my trusty Z390 and regretted the move.

Probably due to the fact I didn't know what the hell I was doing and a board that Gigabyte should not have released, having read all the negative reports. It would run trouble free for days but would then go through a series of freeze ups and reboots.

Took the plunge and went MSI Z490 after years of Gigabyte usage and happy to say this board gave what I expected and more. I suppose it is a gamble these days upgrading a rig with higher specs specially now that Apple has dropped Intel also introducing Sonoma as the new OS, making installs somewhat cumbersome as of late.

On the MSI Z490 I am booting Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma as well as Windows without any issues. If you do decide to go Sonoma, it would be interesting to know your progress and hope you'd keep us all in the loop. Again congratulations on the build.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I want too reiterate Stork's comment: "Congratulations on another well written build description."
And Craighazan's of course : "I love the oak finish on the front, does it need to be varnished or stained?"

Indeed, a build to be proud of.

Thank you. Much appreciated.

@UtterDisbelief Great build, and great choice of case, I have the same one, but with a mesh side panel for my Ryzen System.
