Minimum requirements for Monterey, will mine be enough?

Would anyone be able to comment on the latest OS version that should work with this hardware? Currently running Catalina fine, but would like to move up using OpenCore and the newest compatible OS. This was wildwillow's Golden build back in 2014 or so. Thank you.

Your GPU is Kepler series which is supported by macOS Big Sur. For Monterey and later a patch has to be applied but it’s tested more on Macs. There are risks to use that patch for Hackintosh.

So best to just go with Big Sur if I want to keep my GPU, otherwise, any idea if the rest of my hardware will support Monterey or Ventura?

You can still use HD 4600 of your i7-4700K on Monterey. This iGPU is dropped since Ventura.

But Monterey would need a patch that is unstable, so I may as well try to get Big Sur going and leave it at that unless I want to upgrade components?

Yes, your GTX 760 limits which macOS version you can use it up to.

Your choice - use your HD 4600, limit macOS version or buy a new and compatible AMD GPU.
