RX 6600 XT Support

Oh i see. As dortania does not recommend configurators i did not use it much but i probably will give it a shot! I will try to enable igpu back and retest with bryce!

Fenvi T919 works OOB under Catalina and Monterey 12.2.1, both BT (tested with Airpods Pro) and wifi work as native devices so far, without additional kexts.

I have a 5900x on a B550.
I am looking for a replacement for my GTX 1060Gb/6Gb
(or both together and Windows dual boot if it's possible),
Just to OOTB easy macOS.

What do you think about that brands/cards that are at good price here but easy/native installation?

XFX Radeon RX 6600 8GB GDDR6 Speedster SWFT210
XFX Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB GDDR6 SPEEDSTER SWFT210
Gigabyte Radeon RX 6600 8GB GDDR6 EAGLE
ASUS Radeon RX 6600 8GB GDDR6 DUAL
Asrock Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB GDDR6 Phantom Gaming D OC

Any other advices as good price/quality macOs for <500$ range?

To this day I would swear that the entire RX 6xxx XT (or non-XT) series are supported on the latest versions of macOS.

I have a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6600 XT 8GB and it works amazingly well. Sometimes he does weird things in youtube videos. (The brightness of this changes, but it only happens there and it is very punctual, and I am not sure if it is the fault of the card or its drivers). :)

I am planning to buy this card too. It's at good price here too.
I have a Gigabyte B550 + 5900x.
I mainly will use Windows for production/code purposes.

Any feedback on the brand and OOB installation success is appreciated.
 
not for nothing, but just picked up a used 6600 xt for $200 on CL. Since they are still under warrant for another two years, it was worth a shot. The prices of cards has dropped and some are dumping them.

I had very good success with Asus RX brand (RX 580), still keeping it as a backup to Sapphire RX6600XT I use currently. Asrock (as it is seems to be related with Asus) also is good for Hackintoshing in general.
 
I have the 6600 XT sapphire pulse and it works very well. The officially recommended card is the nitro though
 
Hello RX6600XT owners! Can I ask for your help with benchmarking the GPU? I want to use Neat Video for noise reduction in FCPX projects. Could a RX6600XT owner run Neatbench to see what FPS they get? On their website, they have a table with results but don't have the 6600 listed. Looking at the cards listed, I am guessing it's going to be anywhere between 40-50 fps. Would love to get some real figures. Appreciate any help here.

Not familiar with this program.
I tried it and got a "This device is not supported" message, and it continued with CPU only.
Under Monterey 12.5, the report file for the test is uploaded as an attachment.

Sorry for the late reply, no i went with a Asus ROG Strix OC 6600XT. as it was in stock when i went to microcenter and it was a known working card. Can say thus far (6 months later) no issues in Mac OS or Win 11.
