I tried the SKL spoofing without two amls, and tested by using 0x19160002(ig-paltform-id) in the config.plist.
The spoofing does not work, and the KBL kexts are loaded in my system.

It means you did it incorrectly.

Your are more likely to have better display support with system definition iMac18,1 and ig-platform-id 5926 for the iGPU. You can try my new EFI folder. Notice there's only one file in ACPI/patches. This file includes all the necessary fixes like USB and CPU power management. Please test it .

here's a partial list of my loaded kexts so far:

org.netkas.driver.FakeSMC (1759
as.vit9696.Lilu (1.1.7
as.lvs1974.IntelGraphicsFixup (1.1.7
as.vit9696.Shiki (2.0.5
org.vanilla.driver.CPUFriend (1.0.1
as.vit9696.AppleALC (1.1.4
com.rehabman.driver.USBInjectAll (0.6.1
com.insanelymac.IntelMausiEthernet (2.3.0d0
org.rehabman.driver.FakePCIID (1.3.9
com.no-one.BrcmFirmwareStore (2.2.7
com.no-one.BrcmPatchRAM2 (2.2.7
org.tw.CodecCommander (2.6.3

CPUFriend is nice to load a custom PM for the CPU.

Here it is.
Hi folks,
I recognised freesby uses shiki with his deskmini.
I am on 10.12.6 with Skylake cpu (Intel HD530).
From what I read so far link, it is not that easy to get it up and running.
Is there an easy step-by-step recipe to make it work.
I appreciate your help.
Thank you very much.
(I used the search, but didn't find an adequate post. I am sorry if I missed it.)

That link seems to refer to certain specific problems with Nvidia cards and old plugin versions. Hardware accelerated Video decoding and decoding should work with the right System Definition. For Kaby lake desk mini I think the proper system definition should be iMac18,1. For Skylake perhaps iMac17,1.

If you have DRM problems then try with just installing Shiki

I'm running a Deskmini with i7 7700 like some other other folks here. I have one weird issue though, when I copy large files over USB to internal HDD, my bluetooth signal goes bonkers and very laggy. I have a Broadcom wifi/bluetooth card listed as BCM20702A0 in system profile.

Also my system only seems to display one single USB 3.0 Bus. Is that normal for other folks with Deskminis?

I'm running a deskmini with a i3-i7100T on 10.13.3 and I'am struggling with some really weird behaviour. Everytime I load some GPU intense applications like LuxMark I'll get a lot of glitches.

If connected to a HDMI there will be plenty of glitches, if connect to a Displayport the Display goes black altogether until I quit the application.

I tried two different approaches. None of them work.

1.) freesby EFI with proper LiluFriend and Kexts installed to /Library/Extensions
2.) Default Clover Installation with hints from here and Kexts installed to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other

I would appreciate some help here. My Debug files are attached.

EDIT: Hera are some videos to illustrate my issue. Displayport & HDMI.

I don't have that problem, just tested with LuxMark. Actually it has been a while since the last time I experienced any glitch. You might want to try with my current efi folder maybe that helps.

Perhaps you should try to load the kexts from the clover efi folder first without lilufriend, that is injection, if that works then try to load them from the /Library/Extensions folder with lilu friend

@freesby With your current EFI folder I'm not even able to boot. The boot process loops through error with the iGPU and keeps "Doing retry #0" (see the attached screenshots). No clue what this is about.

I'm so close to giving up. I also installed Sierra (10.12.6) and the issue is still there. With Windows 10 and the issue is gone. So it is definitely not a hardware issue rather than macOS and how it handles the iGPU on the i3-7100T.

Don't give up. It should work

It seems that the proper kexts are not kicking in properly. You should set config.plist/SystemParameters/InjectKexts=Yes instead of "Detect" and place all the relevant kexts to the EFI kexts folder or at least install required the kexts properly in the system with a working cache.

The IntelGrpahicsFixUp.kext seems to be failing, also try adding the -disablegfxfirmware option to clover at boot.

@freesby I really appreciate your help. Thanks a lot! Now the system boots up again, but the glitches are still there. Maybe someone with more knowledge like @RehabMan could step in and have a look at my uploaded debug data? Until then I dont know what to do anymore. I'm trying to get rid of this issue for almost a week now and have already spent too many hours.

Hi folks,
thanks for the input freesby. I installed shiki and set the shikigva boot argument. Checked my system with VDADecoderChecker.
No error messages and "Hardware acceleration is fully supported" output.
After that I did DRM reset as specified in the shiki-howto.
Still the black screen issue.
Your shared config.plist shows more ACPI/DSDT-Patches/Entries than mine (also KextsToPatch). Do you recommend to copy/paste them on my Skylake system?
You recommended to change system definition to 17,1. Just out of curiosity: How would I do that the smart way. (I assume the whole SMBIOS section has to be adapted.)
You're using some more boot arguments. Are they all necessary/advisable?
I'd be grateful for any help.
Thanks for the good support so far.
