I'm new in the hackintosh community and would like to make a hackintosh computer. I've found a fairly cheap PC which I think would be compatible but I would like to know before buying it. The specs are:

Intel Core I5-6200U (with Intel HD graphics 520)
SATA III Hard Drive
DDR3L memory at 1600MHz

The motherboard model is not mentioned. Do I need to worry about it being compatible?
Is there anything else which could be incompatible?

Thanks,
Hardware and Hackintosh newbie Ryan

Is this a laptop ? What is the specific name of it ?

It's called the Asus VivoMini UN65H (model M002M). It's a small desktop computer. The Asus page of it is here, but it shows the specs of all three UN65H models at once. M002M is the middle-range one.

I'd like to know whether I need to worry about the networking chip - or any other parts - being compatible.

edit: the motherboard is apparently custom-made for this specific model. I've heard that Asus motherboards are generally fine in terms of compatibility though.

I believe that computer is not the best choice to install MacOS. Custom motherboards are generally difficult in this regard. It is much better to build a computer with known compatible components.

I can't say it for sure, but this mini htpc may be working good.
It seems Skylake based and has got Realtek LAN onboard. No problems so far. But it may be hard to setup for a beginner without experience. Like Jamesbond says, recommended platform boards are mostly Gigabyte ATX/ITX/µATX based...
No matter if your decision fells to ASUS VivoMini or something else, please take some time before you start doing try and error procedures.;) Read some Guides by e.g. Rehabman and try to understand, what needs to be fixed by ACPI patches (DSDT or SSDT) and how USB ports are gonna be made working (USBInjectAll.kext).
