Read post #1?

Is this procedure for the Mavericks too? Did I hear that it is the lightest version of the Thinkpad T series?

Mavericks is very similar to Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra...
But this guide was written/tested for El Capitan.
You could always try and see what happens. Keep in mind that if you didn't download Mavericks when it was available, you won't be able to get it.

Any idea how hard this would be to convert to a Sierra install? I've gotten to the point where I can install OS X (after some tweaks), and it appears to install fully, but then I can't boot into it at all.

Make sure you read the guide... (Sierra install process is slightly different)

And read here:

I think I have pretty much everything working at this point. Only problem is that the screen is stretched and I'm only seeing half of the screen (left half). Basically this issue here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/only-half-screen.155494/

I'm using https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD4000_1600x900.plist

with CsrActiveConfig set to 0x3. I believe something in the plist is the problem, but I'm not sure what.

Edit: Scratch that, deleted all the DSDT files, and everything is back to normal resolution (but other stuff is broken). So I guess I just need to get an updated DSDT file created. I also have a 1440x900 resolution laptop, so that may be causing issues as well.
