In the meantime I succeeded installing Mavericks and enabling audio... I don't remind how I did it, anyway now I have audio enabled both on heapdhones and speakers.
I gave up trying to install Yosemite and later operating systems due to a several music software incompatibilities.
Anyway, all's well that ends well.
