Just took values from all of my bluetooth dongles- seems that the Broadcom ones work, but the CSR ones don't. We could possibly make 1 IOBluetoothFamily.kext that has every. Find the above info in System Profiler under USB when the dongle is plugged in.

Used the following guide by Notshy to hack the IOBluetoothFamily plugins:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7940

Attached is a version that enables wake from sleep with both of the above Broadcom dongles. Install via KextBeast.

I am using the Targus ACB10US dongle in my Hachintosh. Like many many others I'm having sleep issues especially related to by Bluetooth Trackpad. My sleep wakes after 2 or 3 seconds of sleep.

I have asked this question in several other threads but have no reply. Please help. :banghead:

I am trying to implement the hack of NotShy, referenced above, but can't locate the Vendor and Product ID, at least that makes sense. If I look at the System Info for Bluetooth I see a vendor id of 0x0 and a Product ID of 0x7fff. See attached "Bluetooth_Section..." screenshot.

If I look in the USB hub section, which was advised in another thread I see the BCM2046B1 device (a Broadcom Bluetooth device) with what appears to be a Product ID of 0x4500 (decimal 17664) and the appropriate Vendor ID of 0x0ac5.

I tried the NotShy hack with values of decimal 2652 (xa5c) for Vendor ID, and 17664 (0x4500) for Product ID, but no change in behavior of the Bluetooth, i.e. no wake from sleep control.

Where did MacMan get the Product ID 0x200a (decimal 8202) from?

Is that the pairing I should use in the HACK?

Where should I look to find the correct Ids?

Finally see attached the second image of the System Infor for the USB Hubs.

Please help with a clear reply.

Hi...I have the same dongle Targus ACB10US, and use 0x2154 0xa5c...in decimal 8532/2652. repair permissions & reboot, after that BT is properly recognized no more the 0x0 / 0x7fff and the wake from sleep in not grayed.
sleep works ok only from apple usb keyboard, magic mouse doesn't work after wake up, only by turning off and on the dongle no matter if I use darkwake=0 or not.
another thing is If I plug the dongle on the keyboard usb ports (hub) the red warning appear with not enough energy, before sleep the MM worked perfecly. So I dont know how to wake up from MM, any help?
Big Tks
