Why they gave me a 1.0 board even though i made it clear it was 1.3, i couldnt tell you. Based on your response I'm assuming pci gen 3 is a hardware thing and not a software thing.

I sent my Rev 1.3 motherboard back because LAN died and they replace it with a Rev 1.0 board a week later. For the life of me I can't work out the difference between the two revisions. Are there any real changes to the board and its components and how would this change affect my current set-up...

Same topic, different angle. Im using vmware and booting into the win7 partition from osx 10.6.8 (bootcamp) I loose network connection, can not bridge, doesnt work when host only selected and a reboot is required to restore the network (internet) connection. Is there a solution for this? Steve

Re: Radeon HD 6870 Dual monitor (DVI) not working I have Gigabyte HD6870 graphics card. I used DSDT off the website for GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 Rev 1.3 F10 bio, all defaults. Use a HDMI 1.4 for the main monitor and DVI for the secondary. It will automatically detect and work OOB.

Nope I was wrong, its quite bad, it happens in windows as well. Im using DSTD from the site and I dont know why the internal windows partition comes up as an external drive. I am booting using Chimera and for some reason I get stuck for 30-40 seconds at the load operating screen which is crap.
