Same problem on a RX 570 Armor 8GB. NoVPAJpeg did the trick perfectly, and I feel more comfortable to use it and stick to my current SMBIOS (18.3). Thanks a lot for all contributions here!
Hi @ajoykarmakar459, we're several people in that situation : no way to make the GT 730 work either OOB or with the web drivers under high sierra. May be a problem of compatibility between High Sierra and the card. Unfortunately no one has found a solution yet, maybe someone with higher skills...
Unfortunately we are a small bunch in that situation (see this thread : https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-msi-geforce-gt730-nightmare.234146/ ). No solution yet :( If you have made some progress I'm still interested!
Hi Alessio,
I haven't managed to make my GT 730 work under High Sierra - though being a bit experienced in hackintoshing now- and other people have faced the same difficulties. I've never heard of anyone finding a solution yet, and I'd be glad to have one.
See here ...
Unfortunately, so far no luck. This is a duplicate of thread https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-msi-geforce-gt730-nightmare.234146/ (see here for more details).
Thanks a lot to you all for pointing the issue and giving a solution!
Updating Lilu and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext worked for me too. Since I could not boot under macOS without Lilu, I've dual booted under Win10, mounted the EFI/Clover partition and replaced the two kexts. This could also have...
Hi, @lamacchiacosta . I can confirm that the GT 730 works OOB with Sierra. I am using this video card for more than one year now.
However, at the moment, I've failed to make it work under High Sierra (see my post here ...
Update : seems to be also the case for people using this card inside mac pros. Cf. :

Hi henryzhou,
Really sorry for your bad luck ; I've had the same problem with a GT730, the symptoms are very close, so my guess is that both are related.
I could not make it work no matter how, so had to stick to Sierra at the moment.
Here's the link to the thread concerning the GT730.
Had that problem today on a dual boot disk (Window+macOS) today, wanting to fresh-reinstall macOS on the partition it was installed before ; having that issue, I've spent a lot of time trying to repair my partitions under Windows or Disk Utility (from the USB installer). Finally, what worked was...
One more remark : I've created two USB install sticks.
One for Sierra 10.12.6
One for High Sierra 10.13.0
- Same Clover version (latest 2.4 r4243).
- Same drivers UEFI64 (OsxAptioDrvFix2 + EmuVariableUEFI).
- Same SMBios (14,2).
- Same Kexts (NullCPUPowerManagement/FakeSMC/USBInjectAll)...
Ok, first I'm sorry to open a new "me too" thread ; I've read a lot of recent threads but I think I've reached the point where I can't get no further by myself.
Here's the hardware:
Mobo : ASUS B150M-A-D3
CPU : Core i5 6400
The bloody bastard graphics card: MSI Geforce GT730 2GB (Video...
Same problem for me on a Geforce GT730. As stated by Amylomellow (thank you!), downgrading the NVidia driver works. (To be precise, use Nvidia Web Driver - 367.05.10.05b07 / build 16A254g).
As noted in other threads, it may also be useful (alternate solution) to check :
System Preferences /...
