NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (387.10.10.10.25)

I had some strange artifacts when I had v158. Installing v161 seem to fixed that. Haven't noticed any lag yet. What was weird when i installed v161, was my resolution was stuck in low res. Fixed that by unplugging and replugging my HDMI. edit: Artifacts still present in search bar

Upgrading from 4th gen i7 setup to 6th gen

That's true, but I'm still running ddr3. So I would have to upgrade ram and motherboard along with the cpu.

Upgrading from 4th gen i7 setup to 6th gen

Thanks, sounds like requires some work. Still thinking out loud though. With Ryzen coming out, intel needs to drop enough to make it worth it to upgrade. Still happy with my 4770k.

Upgrading from 4th gen i7 setup to 6th gen

I have Sierra installed on an i7-4770k setup. Can I just migrate my ssd to the i7-6700k setup? or do I have to reinstall Sierra?

ASUS ThunderboltEX II PCIe Expansion Card - Testing Thread

Yes, I've tried with CPU graphics. Even tried all 3 pcie16 slots. Yes, that's what I was thinking. I don't have any TB devices yet. But when you first installed it, did it show up in device manager before you had anything plugged in?

ASUS ThunderboltEX II PCIe Expansion Card - Testing Thread

Thanks for Thanks for the reply. Still a no go. I changed everything you put down. Any additional setting in BIOS that you changed? Also I don't have any thunderbolt device at the moment to test. And I've read that you need something attached for it to be recognized? correct me if i'm wrong...

Are you just sticking with El Capitan? because everything is working fine in Sierra 10.2.2 for me. The only issue I have now is getting thunderbolt 2 dual recognized in windows.
