I also got 32Gb but installed only 8Gb. All my tests have been done with 8Gb and I get stuck at the same point, so I think this is more a issue of OSX-Mobo-CPU, not comparable until now. Maybe we have some luck with Yosemite, if not we got to move to another mobo. Any way, Tonymacx should...
The answer to this question may seem obvious, but can I use this kext to help me get into the installer or it is only used for post installation?
Thanks
We know from Gigybyte website that this MoBo (REV 1.1 with Bios F7, not REV 1.0) has support for this CPU
REV 1.1
http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4766
REV 1.0
http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4288
But we don't know how...
Same setup, same frustration. Also I have seen some mention that this MO and CPU are not compatible for hackintosh, and could not find a single person that have successes with it. Meanwhile this setup is been listed in the buyer's guide.
Any help is welcome
Thanks
just tried your suggested flags and nothing happened, stopped at "MAC Framework successfully initialized" as usual. I'm not able to get to the installer yet.
GA-X79-UP4, Xeon E5 2680 v2 (10 core), GeForce GTX 760
Was anybody able to install or even get through this error? I have the same setup and I'm stuck at the same error::banghead:
>MAC Framework successfully initialized
>using 16384 buffer headers and 10240 cluster io buffer headers
Thanks
