is there a better alternative for the r9 280x (dual dp version) ? i want to edit with fcpx 4k. seeks that the r9 280x is lot more power hungry against my previous gtx 1060. system with GTX 1060 90W, system with r9 280x 220w both measured when the system is in idle.

i have a asus r9 280x-dc2-3gd5 but can't display on all of my 4 displays. 2 displays work in whatever port is plugged in. all combinations tested. OS X 10.11.5 won't detect them at all. pls help thanks in advance

Just seen that a 280x crosfire uses a lot of power it leans aginst 600 watt! To much for me is there an alternative 290x ?
