Hi everyone, restarted my computer today after the power went out earlier and for some reason my machine is incredibly slow. Slow is actually an understatement. Apps won't open and they just bounce on the dock until I force quit them. I tried booting with safe mode and everything seemed fine...

Hi guys, @upognat your solution worked for me. Anybody have any experience with turning FileVault off and then not being able to boot from main disk after restarting? Booted back into the recovery drive, and FileVault started decrypting again.

Does anyone know of a way to roll back? Tried updating directly to high Sierra, but would get stuck on the apple logo with no progress bar. Made a unibeast stick, but the machine won't recognize it in boot up for some reason. Even tried downloading 10.12.5, but it wouldn't install. Help!

Awesome, thanks so much! Only other issue I'm having is losing sound after sleep. I've checked out the forums and most say to install the audio drivers form multibeast 6.1. Since I can't do that on El Capitan, would I just need to wait until Multibeast 8.0 comes out? Would you happen to know...
