I am working on my Dell Hackintosh and suddenly I come across a problem. My video card stops working on MacOS. Why??
Any fixes? -GamerSquadPrint (RobloxVideoMac on TonyMacX86)
I was wondering if NVIDIA's GeForce GT 1030 is compatible with a Hackintosh. A specific model may be the MSI GeForce GT 1030 LP OC 2 GB, or the Gigabyte GV-N1030D5-2GL, or GeForce GT 1030 2GB Low Profile. Thanks if you helped me, and if you looked but had no answer you still get a thanks.
Ok. Thanks! I will find some sort of board from Gigabyte or Asus, (because I am a beginner) and find the part list price! (EDIT 1: I found the Asus B150M-C/CSM. Is that compatible?)
Hello. I am looking to build a Skylake Hackintosh but B150 motherboards seem to not come up on the Buyer's Guide. Can you help me find out? Look at the photo to see the motherboard I was looking at on Newegg.
It is because, as I read from other tonymacx86.com posts/comments, VGA is not compatible. If you have other ports for monitors/TVs on your motherboard, you can use them.
Cool build, but you might want to go with more RAM since you have a gaming mobo and a 6700K, but it is your choice to choose how much RAM you want, not mine.
I would say this.
1. Nothing is wrong or missing.
2. Video editing and gaming would be improved with G-Sync, but it is your choice to go with it, not mine.
3. Not sure...
I believe the motherboard will work with the Early Adopters Guide, and the upcoming Kaby Lake Macs, but the Pentium is not supported. You have to use an Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7.
If you are lucky, you can find a Radeon RX 460 for under $100 (Example: Sapphire 2GB OC Single Fan on Newegg for 79.99 but if you add the $10 mail-in rebate and 3.99 shipping, that price would be 73.98)
