I just tried again, changing all values in /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHIDKeyboard.kext/Contents/Info.plist, but IOReg still shows 0x0007003a,0xff010021,0x0007003b,0xff010020 after changing all to 00x0007003a,0x0007003a,0x0007003b,0x0007003b.
I tried replacing the strings directly in /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHIDKeyboard.kext/Contents/Info.plist, which also didn't have any effect.
The boot.log doesn't show any error, is there anything specific I should look for?
Is @wern's patch for the Apple Keyboard still supposed to work on High Sierra, because it doesn't seem to do anything for me? I still have to press Fn even when the patch is enabled.
No, I am already booting from the SSD, so recognizing the USB drive doesn't seem to be related to this.
Great, I only use one Display anyways, so I can definitely live with one DP for now.
The thing is, once macOS is booted using HDMI, I can switch to DisplayPort, but neither the BIOS nor Clover work over DisplayPort. That is if CSM is disabled.
Thanks, the UI lag is gone now, but there is another issue.
CSM support has to be disabled, right? But if I do so, DisplayPort does not work, only HDMI does.
