Does it actually get to the installer, where you choose a language. If not start up with -v and and see where it is hanging up at, then post what you find. It sounds like a graphic card problem. If so you need to add GraphicsEnabler =Yes command also.
Was this just a upgrade from ML and not a clean install ? If so I would save all my files and apps and then try installing from scratch. The system preferences should not be giving you that message.....
Go to-->System Preferences and click on-->Security & Privacy then under-->Allow Apps downloaded from :-->click on

I used -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 and can get to the install screen and everything works except at the end of the install it gives a message that it failed. I have tried at least 10 times and still no luck..........
Make sure you have the bios set to start up by the CD instead of Hard drive. When restarting the computer press the Escape key ( to change the startup order for that one time ) or F10 key to change the bios settings for startup order for every time.
