[SOLVED!] T6E Wi-Fi card does not work with Sierra 10.12.5

Honestly, after this experience I'd rather wait for a more stable solution, like a kext or a driver. Which takes me to my opening post: the Wi-Fi card does work when I'm booted on the Recovery partition. There has to be a way to extract whatever kernel extension/driver is contained within said...

[SOLVED!] T6E Wi-Fi card does not work with Sierra 10.12.5

[SOLVED!] T6E Wi-Fi card does not work with Sierra 10.12.5

I booted the computer from a Linux USB thumbdrive. I can see the macOS drive, but I can't open any of the folders in the Home Folder: they need Permissions changed. Before dropping the neilhart config in the EFI clover folder I copied my config.plist to the desktop. The neilhart config is in the...

[SOLVED!] T6E Wi-Fi card does not work with Sierra 10.12.5

I did get a Kernel Panic. Having no way to boot into the Finder in order to restore the old config file I spent the past few hours trying to install Sierra on 2 separate USB drives and 1 SATA HDD with the results shown in the attached pictures. The USB installer can't even see the SSD so I can't...
