Can't get any display signal from my system whatsoever
I solved this. No idea how. Rechecked all connectors for the second time, removed and reinserted RAM and then it worked.
Hi,
I just changed most of the components in my setup to the following ones:
Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H
Intel Core i7 4790K
MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
Without booting into any operating system, I set up the basic BIOS settings (optimized defaults + a few changes). After all this was setup, I...
That’s because their keyboard, including the space bar, would slide to the left and you’d have to offset the trackpad to the left too in order to avoid accidental trackpad input while typing. This arrangement can be found on many modern laptops but I think it looks aweful since it pushes the...
Yeah I’m wondering about this too. 10.8.2 runs incredibly stable on my system except for some rare graphic hickups - maybe this driver will fix it but I don’t wanna risk my system’s stability by upgrading to a new OS release.
Edit: Wow, the seperated pane looks really nice, so I might consider...
Nice! I‘m currently using Chimera to have a triple boot with OS X, Windows and Ubuntu. It really was easy to setup and I’m satisfied with the result but maybe there’s a bootloader that suits my needs even better.
Thanks Middleman, unfortunately your solution didn’t work for me. Since Windows already was a little cluttered too I simply reformatted the partition and re-setup both OSs - that worked flawelessly. From now on I’ll keep a better backup of the kexts, so that I can go back easier to an early...

Team Fortress 2 crashes repeatedly [workaround found!]
Ok I did A LOT more testing and discovered that other Source-Games like CS:GO, Day of Defeat: Source and Portal 2 were running without crashes, so it's a TF2-specific bug.
Here's a workaround I found on Valve's forums: you need to add...
Hey thanks for the quick answer and sorry for my late reply but I guess I need to do a bit more testing before I know if only TF2, the Source-engine or Graphic Applications in general are the root of this problem. Infrequent crashes are hard to track down and the Steam forums aren't really...
Team Fortress 2 crashes repeatedly [workaround found!]
Team Fortress 2 crashes on my Hackintosh repeatedly after around 20 minutes. I don't get any error except hl2_osx stopped working. I didn't have this bug on my old iMac and all other graphic applications are running perfectly on my...
