But Mojave is before Big Sur... I wanted Mojave as the most modern MacOS that still supported 32 bit Logic Pro plugins... Would I get decent graphics if I installed High Sierra? If not would a Radeon RX 560 get me out of this fix or even a cheapo Geforce GT 710 1Gb or 2GB/DDR5? Thanks!

Going well, almost there I think... disabling serial port caused it not to boot though :( I did another install onto a second ssd using 13.2 iMac as sysdef. it now boots super quick. I had to install AtherosL1cEthernet.kext using KextBeast to get the ethernet working but I'm now stuck on poor...

Hi All. I have the GA-Z77 board with a GT640 GPU and i7 3 series. Just about to move to Mojave and then get a 500 Watt GPU and an AMD Saphire Pulse 570. from what I've read Clover can handle all that but is the board too old? Will it take an AMD 570? Thanks in advance!

Agree about the GPU prices. I was going to get a GTX1050ti for my 'daily' till I saw the price. In this case though, I already have a GT710 boxed and unused so I don't need to part with any money, now I know it will do the job and this thread has meant that I don't need to find another GT640...
