    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@beelzebozo I've stuck with BIOS F8, which works fine for me. I've seen too many reports of upgraded BIOS on various motherboards causing problems to risk changing if it's not needed.

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@beelzebozo @jorsh I have the Gigabyte Z690 Aero G DDR4 board and have been using XMP Profile 1 with 4 DIMMs @ 3600 MHz without issue. The four DIMMs were purchased as a set. They are Corsair as shown in the System Information window purchased as a set at least nine months ago. I have an...

Confirm that in config.plist Misc->Security->SecureBootModel is "Default." If it's already set to "Default" and not updating, then download the full installer from Apple's App Store and use it to upgrade your installation. I've had to do this on occasion on other motherboards.

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@stormtrooper CaseySJ has a great collection of mini-guides on how to flash various motherboards as well as Titan Ridge cards for Thunderbolt. I suggest you start your investigation at this link. Or do your own searching on this forum...

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@stormtrooper I don't know how non-flashed would work. Test it and see.

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@stormtrooper No modifications of the SSDT-TITAN-RIDGE-V1.aml file (attached below) were required. My flashed Titan Ridge card is NOT in the bottom/last slot, but in the slot above it labeled PCIEX4_1.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@jiffyslot I normally use an HDMI -> HDMI cable with my Gigabyte Z390 Designare, i9-9900K, RX 580, F9i, CSM - Disabled, iMac19,1, OC 0.9.2, Ventura 13.4. However, I used the EFI you provided for a MacPro7,1 and entered new serial number, etc. I used a DisplayPort cable (I believe one supplied...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@madmax559 I just updated my Designare Z390/RX580/i9-9900k/32GB to Monterey 12.6.6 and OC 0.9.2 without any obvious problems. I'm on BIOS F9i. I typically update OC every month with each release, and update the extensions that are updated to keep things in sync. I rarely use this build so it...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@CaseySJ Thanks CaseySJ! DisableIoMapperMapping was not selected. The first time I booted with it selected within seconds of getting to the desktop the hack panicked. The second time I booted the desktop was never displayed. I had originally installed 13.4 via System Settings -> Software...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@CaseySJ It looks like there is a similar issue with networking based on a post in the Z490 Vision D thread. AppleVTD appears in IORegistryExplorer for me.

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@CaseySJ My Gigabyte Z390 Designare hack running Ventura 13.3.1 (a), OC 0.9.2, and a Fenvi T-919 WiFi card had working network connections through WiFi, and both Ethernet ports. Upgrading to Ventura 13.4 today disabled WiFi, and the "lower" Ethernet port (furthest from the two brass WiFi...

    Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@CaseySJ I had AppleVTD active Pre-Ventura 13.3.1, and upgraded to Ventura 13.3.1 and OC 0.9.1 without any config.plist changes. Ethernet and WiFi continued to work normally for me. During the original build of the Z690 Aero G, I replaced the on-board Intel WiFi card with the WiFi card...

    Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@StarsAndBars I've had this same issue over the years with OpenCore Configurator. Make sure you only have one config.plist file open in OCC at a time. It seems to get confused if more than one is open. I go to the extreme of only having one EFI partition opened in OpenCore Configurator at a...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

@dranose You can always test the change by putting the revised EFI on a thumb drive and booting from it by holding down the F12 key at the BIOS screen. Leave your current EFI on your regular boot drive to fall back to if needed.
