Will be trying this one here (post #5) as soon as the little man steps out for a break. He's been on that machine the whole day (from where we are) playing Roblox, watching YT, FarCry 6 (yes this old box surprisingly can still run it).
I got it from here.
Wish me luck :)
When I try to use the SSDT-EC file from the same DSDT file, uSB just dies during the verbose loading of OC. It also flipped out upon learning that the DSDT file got me further instead of SSDT-EC as advised from OC guide
In any case, might there something from the EFI folders which might provide...
Yes. That is correct. Using the DSDT file was the only way that let me get further via OC from my previous report here (post #25)
No patches done on the file attached though. Its just the prebuilt one from the DSDt database here courtesy of MacMan. Whichever combination I tried, I found that it...
Thank you for the continued support. I really appreciate your time.
Here is the result for kextcache:

I agree. I've deleted all the other 3rd party kext and left the 10 (or 11) official kext that should be in there then rebuilt my cache.
After the rebuid, I restarted then Clover could not load my 1TB mechanical drive (now same behaviour as with the OC USB with I am trying to get working). All...
Ok then so went ahead to clear my /L/E then rebuilt the cache. After rebooting, Clover now also cannot mount/load my mechanical HDD, now happening in both Clover and OC. The other SATA drives (ssds) can be loaded. The mechanical drive remains to be accessible when booting to Windows.
Any...
So I was able to get a little further. Had to ditch the SSDT from the ACPI folder and had the good 'ol DSDT file take its place. This let me boot into the desktop just fine with just one last hurdle.
OC can't seem to read/mount my mechanical storage drive (NTFS, btw). All the other sata SSDs...
so I've tried both options with each one having xchiport disabled unfortunately I got the same result. It's like USB just dies 1-2 seconds after verbose mode starts and it would not like to power back on. Was able to still get to the desktop on both. Saw that ethernet and audio were working but...
alright so I was able to map may usb ports then let hackintool generate the usb kext and .aml files. I've put them inside the kext and ACPI folders then took a snapshot. Unfortunately, USB still dies right about the same point during the loading process.
Oh, I've also taken out USBinjectall and...
just would like to report back. I got the same behaviour after I've updated the kexts.
might take me some time to finish the thread you've recommended but I'll sure look into it.
Thank you very much.
