I'm using a 500GB SSD, NTFS formatted, as a sample library (audio snippets) data storage for my Windows 10 and MAC OS X Mojave system and a 2TB NVME, also NTFS formatted, as my main Windows 10.
I'm also using the latest Clover bootloader, and while the data storage only contains sample...
I'm using Mojave 10.14.6 on my ga-z87m-d3h / i7 4790k hackintosh and it worked correctly up until recenently. Now everytime I start up the machine, it gets stuck at the BIOS screen and no matter what I press, it does nothing. However, once I abruptly unplug the powercord, while the BIOS screen...
I used the hackintool to do this. I only had to choose the initial kext folder and I wasn't asked for a destination folder as this is probably set by hackintool to a default path (probably L/E)...
I have this rather simple build (Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87M-D3H, CPU: i7 4790k, internal GPU HD4600) and I updated it to the latest Mojave build a couple of weeks ago. I noticed today that the system freezes everytime I open the App Store. I haven't relocated my kext and driver files (they're...
Thank you so much! Now that I've enabled IGFX, preview and quick look are working again!
I removed the framebuffers, too. Should I also remove these boot arguments?
shikigva=32 shiki-id=Mac-7BA5B2D9E42DDD94
Before I messed around with these arguments, shikigva was set to 40 and the shiki-id...
Thanks fo the suggestions!
I'm using Clover revision 5070. I changed the platform ID to 0300983E (0x3E980003 byte reversal due to data format) and I'm still experiencing problems with preview and quick look (My main GPU, which I use for my monitor output, is the 780 Ti and the 9900k IGPU is not...
Here is my boot arguments list (before I edited it, shikigva was set to 40 and the shiki-id was not present in my list):
Preview still doesn't work correctly... Weirdly enough, preview was able to open the png screenshot I just made, but it still can't open any JPGs I've saved over the last...
My Preview app is not working anymore... it just won't open any pdf, png, jpg, gif files... a few seconds after I click on a picture, the app crashes and isn't responding anymore... I'm on 10.14.6, and I'm using a very similar build to the one OP has with a 9900K CPU and 32GB DDR4 RAM...
I was using a Seagate Barracuda SD3000DM001 3TB for my backups until recently. I'm not able to initialize the harddisk anymore. I do get a initialization message once I log into Mac OS X Mojave, but even if I click on the initialize button, it still doesn't show up as an initialized harddisk in...
I tried your attached config.plist file and restart and shutdown are function correctly. Maybe it's because I've properly shut it down with the on/off button instead of pressing reset and trying it again and again. Anyway, this problem's fixed now. Thanks!
Thank you, that problem's solved now! I just can't update from 10.14.3 to 10.14.4. It tells me that the computer needs to reboot and then I see an installation bar which is filled up to 10% before turning the screen black. Is this update not meant for Nvidia GPUs? Do you Radeon guys have any...
This is the first update that does this... all the minor updates before (I even updated to Mojave via the direct software update) went smoothly and this display turning black issue never happened. Is this minor update special in that regard?
Thanks! This helped me get to the login screen, but then I encountered the USB keyboard/mouse problem once again.
USBInjectAll.kext is inside my /L/E folder and I rebuilt the cache, yet it still fails to recognize my mouse and keyboard. Should the USBInjectAll.kext remain in the other folder?
