Have played around with things today and I've managed to make my VGA monitor get signal every time. The only thing that I can think of which would affect this is enabling both the onboard and the external graphics adapter in BIOS.
Turns out I missed the configure step when partitioning my USB and it didn't partition with a GUID Partition table.
I also had to disable secure boot, otherwise I would get an error.
I've followed this thread to create a clover USB, however when I select it to boot into i, I'm greeted with the chameleon bootloader (bootloader on my HDD).
I have an Asus Z97-k motherboard, and following this post I've determined I have an EFI compatible motherboard...
The problem isn't booting. It boots every time, but sometimes it doesn't give signal to the monitors. This only happens when I have my monitor which is connected through a VGA to DVI adapter.
Been playing around for a while, I'm able to boot fairly consistently (like 80% change my monitors will get signal) with this config:
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>IGPEnabler</key>...
Wow, You're amazing. Hackintosh's working fine.
Ok, weirdest thing so far: Since my main display is 1680x1050 I can only boot with Mode=1680x1050x32 boot flag. However if I add it into the default boot flags, it won't work. Only if I enter it at every boot :wtf:
Edit: Even weirder thing...
I've tried installing Nvidia web drivers, however is said OS X 10.10.3 is not supported? Do I have to downgrade (somehow) or...? (Note that my GPU wasn't plugged in when trying to do it).
Well I finally managed to install OS X with onboard graphics, however I'm not able to boot if my GPU is plugged in. Could you provide some details on how did you fix it?
GPU problem - Installer stops
After some testing, I'm able to enter the installer by removing the Graphics Card. Will it affect me if I remove the GPU during installation and later put it back? Or are there any boot flags I could try?
Full Specs:
CPU: Intel i5-4690K (listed in buyer's guide)...
Thought of giving a go at installing Yosemite on my recently built PC, but I'm getting the error:
My CPU: Intel i5-4690K
Is it not supported? Could this be caused by anything else or it's CPU for sure? Anything I could try?
I've tried -x graphicsenabled=no, but no success.
