Sorry for the delay in answering.
After many times trying (with VESA low resolution graphics) with no success, I've decided to stop trying to install High Sierra and will wait until a more stable version becomes available.

There are not actual screenshots. I've tried several times and the systems attempts to restart some times and other gets stuck in with a black screen with the white Apple and a white spinning circle under it. The rest of the times I got just black screens.

About how my BIOS boots, I'm sure it does via UEFI, though maybe in the past it used to boot in Legacy and thus the EFI folder remains there at the root of my drive. However, Clover does boot from the EFI partition. I just kept the EFI folder for melancholic reasons.
