Stupid question but did you try the F6 button? (trackpad disable button)

Didn't work for me either, and GenI2c shows this now.

Lenovo Ideapad S340 15IWL Trackpad not working

Should I remove all current patches in ACPI tab on my config.plist w/just what is in the readme? Also should I remove all other patches from the E/C/A/patched dir?

Lenovo Ideapad S340 15IWL Trackpad not working

It seems another common thread between us is our s340 are running different CPUs than those working (i5-8265u vs i3 or i7). I wonder if we need to manually apply the SSDT's. I'm not exactly sure how that process works but if someone has a good guide I'd be game to give it a shot.

Lenovo Ideapad S340 15IWL Trackpad not working

That is interesting, but my accessibility does not have that option. I looked everywhere and didn't find it. I'm on 10.15.2 at this point. My laptop is not a touchscreen model. So something came to mind last night while on my 330s. I noticed both have a key dedicated to disabling the...

Lenovo Ideapad S340 15IWL Trackpad not working

I'm definitely in the same boat as Clash farmer. I swapped back into my clean install of Catalina and copied in the EFI you listed. I too now see CHID connected as satellite but no touchpad :/

[Guide] Lenovo Ideapad S340 Laptop on Catalina

Here's a diff.. in terminal you can run: `cat sys_diff.txt` etc.. I generated it by just sorting the output of both our files and running `icdiff` on them. We've got lots of different kexts in /s/l/e I'm guessing you're not on Mojave? We'll another big difference may be this was a hard drive...

Lenovo Ideapad S340 15IWL Trackpad not working

Oddly enough, unchecking those boxes and removing IONetworking...kext may have fixed my BCM94360CS2 bluetooth issue. This is the first time both wifi and bluetooth are working flawlessly. Using Curtistn's EFI with the checkmarks and loading IONetworking...kext turned on didn't fix my trackpad...

Lenovo Ideapad S340 15IWL Trackpad not working

I had same experience as ClashFarmer.. I unchecked a few boxes to match your screenshot and added the forced kext (on mojave). For some reason I had IONetworking...kext already listed so I removed that as well to make sure it wasn't some other conflict. Still no dice but very hopeful!

[Guide] Lenovo Ideapad S340 Laptop on Catalina

I figure this might make it easier for us to compare kexts... it will generate two files listing all files or dirs and their md5 hashes so we can tell if we have different versions of a kext. cd /System/Library/Extensions && sudo perl -e 'use Digest::MD5 qw(md5 md5_hex md5_base64); use...

I am on Mojave (was reading someone elses post about how their trackpad started working when they downgraded). I should've mentioned that. If you are too I'd be happy to send you my EFI and we can compare /L/E. I believe I pretty much ripped all non-stock kext out of /S/L/E and /L/E and just put...

[Guide] Lenovo Ideapad S340 Laptop on Catalina

Well this was a bit unexpected. I noticed 4mit had a newer firmware than I did. I was on 2.04, not 2.05. After upgrading my BCM94360CS2 started working. However Bluetooth is still not fully operational. It sees devices but can't seem to connect to them.
