I just fixed mine last night and got Lion to boot up fine by itself now. The problem for me was the audio kext for some reason. I had to go into System/Library/Extentions and delete the AppleHDA then I ran Multibeast and installed the Voodoo 2.6.1 and restarted then everything worked fine.

I am working on getting Lion installed on my system and everything went fine but when lion trys to boot I get that same message and cannot figure out whats going on with it. Anybody got any ideas please!!!

I had no problems installing lion but I cannot get it to boot correctly. I keep getting kernel panics with something about IOUSBFamily I can get it to boot into lion if i use -v -x I have tried using a DSDT and I've tried none but I still can't get it to boot right. Any help please???

For me I am using the case and power supply from the current pc for my new mac so I wont be able to transfer over network that is why I want to put the drive in the mac to transfer files over.

Ok that answers my question. My windows drive is NTFS also but I will only be copying files off of it and not going back and forth so it shouldnt be a problem. Thanks!
