Activity Monitor showing 4gb instead of 8gb

Hi,

I got a very weird issue with my new installation


my system current has 8gb of memory as shown here

This 8gb is also detected by the Bios

However, when i open the activity monitor there is only 4gb

I am running 64bit

any solution?

another information

when i booted using the chimera bootloader

it only shows 4gb of ram

how to force chimera to recognize all my rams? cause my bios works fine in seeing all the rams

Mine is the same way for some reason
