    [SUCCESS] GB Z490M / 10.5.7 / i7 10700K / 5700XT / OpenCore

So, I have hdmi audio and usb front ports working fine on my build. I'm using the same MB as the OP, I didn't end up having to change anything - upon restart everything worked. I agree, the opencore guide says you shouldn't need to rename using newer SMBIOS. Sorry I can't be of more help, but...

    [SUCCESS] GB Z490M / 10.5.7 / i7 10700K / 5700XT / OpenCore

Thanks for you're responses and posting this - I had a similar build and was able to boot easily, almost everything working with your post. I will be working at getting the front USB ports and HDMI audio running after the long weekend, so will post what I end up with, i'll modify your USBMap or...

    [SUCCESS] GB Z490M / 10.5.7 / i7 10700K / 5700XT / OpenCore

@nazrm Thanks for posting this, I'm using your files as a comparison as I work through mine, as it's a very similar build. Any reason why you didn't include SSDT-PLUG?

Is everything working for you? I went with the Gigabyte board because I've had more success with Gigabyte, but I think your Asus board is a little better. Thx.

Are you running an old Sandy Bridge system?

I grabbed an rx 560 off amazon warehouse and mojave works great. I had it working through integrated graphics, but it was horribly glitchy. Kind of wish I had picked up a card awhile ago, it just runs much nicer with it. I had to fiddle around with disk sleep and stuff but it wasn't too bad.

Blank windows in some applications- Mojave-Z170x designare-i76700k-Intel Hd530 internal graphics

@romainky - did you ever find an answer? I have an older system doing the same thing - just random apps, messages, some jar apps, etc. Thanks

Max out ram and CPU 2011 Customac Mini with GA-H67N-USB3-B3

Upgraded to 16gb ram with crucial ballistix tactical. For others who find this, I had to boot with flag "maxmem=15585", or system ran terribly slow. Not exactly sure why, found it in a post by scrumpdaddy. Running great aside from that.

Official CustoMac Mini 2011 Guide and Notes (in progress)

Posting here for others - recently upgraded this build to 16gb of ram as well. I have an i7 chip on the way. Thanks to scrumpdaddy in the link below, and after much frustration, I found his post about putting "maxmem=15585" as a bootflag for clover. Otherwise the system ran like molasses with...

    Golden Build GA-H67N-USB3-B3 Yosemite Success

Hi - Your "maxmem=15585" saved me. Thanks so much for this - I know this is so old, but did you ever find out why this is? I am using the H67 board still, just upgraded to 16gb and it was insanely slow. This fixed it, but just wondering if there was a reason or more permanent solution than...

Max out ram and CPU 2011 Customac Mini with GA-H67N-USB3-B3

Hi - I have a 2011 Customac Mini with the motherboard in the title, 8gb ram, and i3-2105 CPU. I'm planning a new build, but would like to keep this one running with some better spec'd CPU and ram. Wondering what everyone has upgraded this board with, or has suggestions for - probably would go...

Official CustoMac Mini 2011 Guide and Notes (in progress)

NICE, thanks so much for this. I'll give this a shot sometime, Sierra is working perfectly for me, so I don't want to mess it up right now. As a sidenote, I just moved this build out of the Apex MI-008 into a Cooler Master Elite 130. I was having too many heat issues lately. Mainly my fault...

Ha just checked back in randomly on this - Mine does this too. I think it's heat related, but I could be wrong. Otherwise works well. I might look at upgrading it here soon - I ordered some stuff to cut into the case, it's still just too hot inside I think, I end up running it open a lot now.
