Anyway I ended up installing windows on my drives about a year ago and want to go back to OS X. About to pick up a MacBook to be able to do this. Is it a safe assumption all the hardware would still be supported on the latest build? Or possibly even more...
my front USB ports work as they are plugged into the motherboard receiving power, no issues. I cannot confirm the speed however on any port as I only use them to connect my devices never transfer data at 3.0 speed.
So using a 980 TI SC ACX 2.0+ gpu, and a LG 34uc88 monitor that has speakers in it. I would like to use the speakers in the monitor as DP can carry audio signal to my GPU. Would this be plug and play as I have drivers setup for my NVIDIA Web Drivers already, or would this require extra configuring.
I ended up fixing my sound. It works on wake from sleep, and front port detection works as well. I do use DisplayPort for signal to video. My method may work for you if you want it let me know.
