Yep. It takes and NVMe no problem. (Mine didn't come with the screw holds the NVMe it place but it has the slot.) It's a nice little machine for the price. Let me know what you decide to upgrade if you pick one up.

Any luck on getting full output on sound? I got AppleALC 1.3.9 working without trouble. The problem is max volume is pretty low, especially compared to windows. It'd be great if I could get the sub woofer working but right now I'd settle for a little more volume.

Mojave can only be installed on an AFPS partition. You can either start from scratch reformat your drive with a NTFS guild and an AFPS partiton for Mojave. Then Install Mojave and Reinstall Windows. Or you can delete your exFat partion that you made and create a an AFPS volume in its place...
