HP Omen 15-AX238TX Not booting into Installer

Aye guys, I'm back to a booting problem again. I practically have the same EFI, as the one I last posted, except I applied the _DSM->XDSM patch, and the installer installed and booted seamlessly. NOW, I practically get a garbled screen like before I applied the fix, but this time I get a strip...

HP Omen 15-AX238TX Not booting into Installer

So I did what was asked in the patching guide/the guide that was linked, and I may not have done it correctly, because my laptop still is outputting the same "Service only ran for 0 seconds". I've linked my clover EFI files again ;-;. Please help me!!

HP Omen 15-AX238TX Not booting into Installer

Thanks for the heads up! Okay I followed that and I somewhat got the installer to boot, until the screen glitches out, and then the loading icon shows, and keeps repeating itself. Yea, so using the guide I got way closer, but now it glitches, I think its because I don't know how to...

HP Omen 15-AX238TX Not booting into Installer

Hey guys, I have a HP Omen laptop with an i7-7700HQ, 16gb of RAM, a GTX 1050ti (4gb) (also HD630), and I've looked everywhere for help of getting into the installer screen. The laptop also has a 256gb SSD + 1TB HDD, I have partitioned the 256gb ssd for 100gb of space for macOS. I keep getting...

    Crazy, weird, visual issues

If it does, a quick fix to that problem may be removing all edited kexts that are related to IntelGraphics and rebooting into macOS whilst turning InjectIntel = off, (and changing FakeID to 0x00000000 and product-id to 0x00000000, if anything is already there). This is because macOS should...

    Crazy, weird, visual issues

Does your "About Mac" section show your graphics configuration? Does it say something like "Kaby Lake XXXXmb" or "Intel HD Graphics 630 XXXXmb? What I want to know is the number "XXXX" of mb that shows. If is shows something like 7mb, or 3mb, then we do have an issue, if not, there must be...

Radeon R9 390 Post High Sierra Issues

Hi all! Pretty sure this is such a troublesome card, but I got to go back pretty quick and start editing videos with FCPX. Anyway, I cannot get any acceleration nor the macOS to even detect the card as a R9 290/390. I have tried several FakeID's, DeInit options, InjectATI off and on, nothing...

Update 10.10.5 -> El Capitan, installer doesn't continue after reboot

Wait, are you trying to update from Yosemite, or an older version of El Capitan? If you are trying Yosemite, are you using Clover to boot into the USB? Do you have the right bootflags? Are your motherboard settings perfect? If RAM is the issue, try installing with one stick. The weird thing is...

Urgent help - accidentally installed clover and now my mac wont boot

Just saying from my experience, when I updated from Yosemite to El Capitan, I also had the Apple Logo appear, but there was no activity, no movement. Either you need kexts in your Clover>kexts folder, you need bootflags, or your motherboard settings are not 100% perfect.

    ALC887 not being found

This is going to sound noobish, but have you tried kext-dev-mode=1 ? When you boot, add the boot flag kext-dev-mode=1 see if it works.

Black screen after changing resolution or even frame rate.

Ok, so I have an R9 390, which i've spoofed to: 0x67B01002 and FBname; Radeon. Well, The card works fine, but when it comes to changing resolution to something higher (or lower) either through System Preferences>Displays or through a game, it ALWAYS blacks out. What I've done to try and...
