I have the same problem but different mobo... Z87x-D3H with mavericks and I also tried Asus Z97-A, changed RAM and installed Yosemite but no help...only the CPU and PSU was the same. I now think that it might be the PSU, will give it a try and change that...

guys any news about the UP2414Q running at 60Hz ? I did try yosemite but could only go 1080p, not even 4k...

I just bought dell up2414q with new motherboard asus z97x-a thinking that I will just install yosemite and hidpi mode will work out of box... Such a nice dream, now i even tried mavericks but cant get it work with hidpi just like in yosemite. Dont kniw what to do.

The problem is with hd 5000, it hangs out after bluetooth check... If I use flag -x I can boot to safe mode, but that's it. Mac didnt recognize video card. I have also installed latest chimera but still says kext not loaded..

Hi, did you use unibeast to make bootable usb? I have the same motherboard but with no luck... :/
