I have the exact same output on a MacBookPro late 2013 with a Toshiba nvme (+ adapter). Battery life is substantially lower than with the stock Apple ssd, suggesting that power management with 3rd party SSDs is not implemented (yet?)

I generated a dummyHDA, clover config and DSDT patches via Mirone's tool. Applied everything, booted with vanilla AppleHDA and the result is the same. The device is there, but no sound from the speakers and no mic. Only the headphones work. :-/

I followed it. I installed Yosemite following the original guide. Got through El Capitan update with DummyHDA + Clover injection, no problem then, but that didn't survive the Sierra update. How do I switch to "Profile-id: -3" ?

Thanks. I regenerated the ssdt with the latest script and now scaling seems to be working better. How can I check GPU frequency and available P-states? I used to do it with DPCI manager, but is not working with sierra. (I still wish I hadn't upgraded :-/)

So I just noticed that Sierra is ignoring the -xcpm boot flag (worked with 10.10 and 10.11) and uses AICPM for power management. Is this normal/expected behaviour? Moreover my multiplier is locked at the lowest value (8x) and won't scale up. Could this be because I am using an ssdt generated...

EHm.. I wasn't following the guide, but now I am: booted without cache, rebuilt it with sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u / and rebooted, but still no sound devices. :-/// Saved the new IOReg, just in case..

the version is larger, I believe. in DummyHDA i have CFBundleShortVersionString 999.1.1 CFBundleVersion 999.1.1fc1 CFBundleVersion of AppleHDA is 276.26 I rebuilt the cache, but what guide are you referring to? tnx
