Nvidia Drivers for Mojave 10.14 Not Available, no WorkAround works well

I have noticed that on my old systems (Clarkedale / Arrandale / Lynnfield and older), Mojave can appear to be slower than High Sierra. I restored the responsiveness of my old systems by doing the following in Mojave: System Preferences > Spotlight > Search Results: Uncheck all options System...

    Mojave on Biostar TH55HD Socket 1156 / NVidia 9800GT

I've tested my software builds on an SSD (SATA 3) connected to the "built-in" SATA 2 ports (on the Biostar TH55HD motherboard) and on an SSD (SATA 3) connected to the I/O Crest PCIe x2 SATA 3 card. Build times are virtually identical, so the SATA 3 card did not improve performance. This...

    MacOS compatible RAID Controller

I'm currently using the card below (< $33 USD at Amazon) in non-RAID mode and it works fine in Mojave 10.14.6 (with AHCI_3rdParty_Sata.kext). I haven't tried a RAID configuration yet, but would love to hear anyone's experience with this card in a RAID configuration. I/O Crest 4 Port SATA III...

Use a SATA PCI Card to expand number of non-booting drives on High Sierra?

Posting this update, since I may have caused some confusion with my previous post (and subsequent edit of the post). The SATA III card that I installed (I/O Crest 4 Port SATA III PCI-e 2.0 x2 HyperDuo RAID Hard Drive Controller Card) appears to be working perfectly in Mojave 10.14.6 with...

    Mojave on Biostar TH55HD Socket 1156 / NVidia 9800GT

I added the PCIe x2 SATA III controller to my system for faster SATA SSD performance. This card works well in Mojave after installing AHCI_3rdParty_Sata.kext. I can boot from drives connected to this card and use drives connected to this card for non-boot storage. Drives connected to this...

Use a SATA PCI Card to expand number of non-booting drives on High Sierra?

EDIT2: Sorry about the mixup. The card I describe below does work in Mojave. I was playing with a couple of configurations and had switched to a non-working configuration. Prevously, I had incorrectly stated that the I/O Crest controller card worked OOB. I did need to install...

    Solved > Dell Latitude E6410 Won't Sleep

I have sleep / wake working on a Latitude E6410 running Mojave 10.14.6 and High Sierra 10.13.6. Google "Latitude E6410 Mojave" Note my user name in the other thread is tonyx86

    Solved > Dell Latitude E6410 Won't Sleep

I copied the discrete graphics _OFF and _ON methods from a Latitude E6430 and have sleep "working" on the Latitude E6410. The laptop now sleeps with a flashing power LED. Pressing the power button to wake results in a dark screen. I think this is confirmation that _OFF and _ON methods are the...

    Mojave on Biostar TH55HD Socket 1156 / NVidia 9800GT

Yes. Thank you for your reply. I am currently running without any CLOVER CPU configs (e.g. no generate C / generate P states), because the CLOVER configs reduce the peak multiplier and reduce the number of P states. Speed step works perfectly as the system is currently configured. The only...

    Mojave on Biostar TH55HD Socket 1156 / NVidia 9800GT

@P1LGRIM That is good to know; This thread is for Intel Series 5 / Lynnfield / Clarkedale (older than Haswell). Do you think Rehabman's "CPU Haswell and newer" advice is relevant? EDIT: If what you're implying is that ssdtPRgen can still be used for Lynnfield, I wasn't able to get it to work...

Sorry - I was looking at the the debug files in Post #1.

Unable to use internal web cam - Matebook 13

@Feartech It might be better for you to look in @NONITS ' debug files (specifically at his kexts folder and ACPI/patched folder). I haven't used hackintool before, so it's quite possible that I didn't see the files because I don't know what I'm looking for.

Unable to use internal web cam - Matebook 13

I didn't see USBPorts.kext in the kexts folder and I didn't see the SSDT for USB ports in the ACPI/patched folder. Is it possible that something is missing?

    Mojave on Biostar TH55HD Socket 1156 / NVidia 9800GT

@Feartech I took another look at ssdtPRGen and can't find evidence that it still supports the Series 5 chipset and related CPUs. There is an L3426 (Xeon Lynnfield CPU) in the examples, but ssdtPRGen fails when attempting to create the SSDT for that CPU. I was hoping to try it only to see if it...
