thanks for your help man I ended up getting it to work by installing the kext into he clover folder and doing a fresh install.

still no internet upon restart i also noticed that IntelMausiEthernet.kext isnt being loaded when i used kextstat

config, terminal output, and list view.

Is this what should be happening I installed a new kext and did a complete power cycle.

Unfortunately that also failed to work my steps where 1: sudo kextcache -i / 2: delete the two files in preference (also never reinstalled the files still missing after driver install) 3: install the kext 4: sudo touch /system/library/etc

no I have yet to do that I will do it now and report back

Well I'm running 10.13.0 other than that I do not believe I have left any details out and yes Ethernet interfaces is enabled

I assume not because my dual boot into windows allows internet

Thank you for the replay but unfortunately I still have no internet installed also I notice that I did not have the networkinterface.plist file when I removed the preference.plist, is there a log file I can locate to give further insite.
