    Apple IR USB Header

Hey Guys, is the IR receiver working for you in Yosemite? Mine is recognized in system profiler, but the remote has no effect on it (Sofa Control) :/ edit/update: nevermind, just found out that while Sofa Control doesn't work, Remote Buddy is doing just fine under yosemite. The hack still works.

How to Use HDAEnabler module with Chimera

Any feedback on this? Is there a chance we could get a Multibeast update to resolve it? In my case no codec at all was found using Toleda's tools and I had to install the universal VoodooHDA to get my audio going.

What about AMD's R9 Series (280x, 290x) on our Hackintoshes?. Further explanation.

Not really, I've really only removed my old intel bits and left Graphics Mode 1920x1080x32 in there. At the moment however under OSX I'm back to the intel iGPU setup and whenever I want to do some gaming, before booting to Windows I switch my Bios setting to PCIE. This is a bit annoying, but not...

What about AMD's R9 Series (280x, 290x) on our Hackintoshes?. Further explanation.

I've just upgraded my R9 280x to the R9 290 and as stated earlier, there is no QE/CI support, but the card runs under OSX, so it's not that we can't use it, we just can't use it fully... yet, biggest issue is obviously lack of OpenGL. I had to send my Asus R9 280x (which by the way was 100%...

AzureWave NB037H (WiFi+BT Combo) with Kext

Well I honestly don't think that there is a compatible firmware out there, I went on a scavenger hunt and found a russian forum where they did a rather complete overview of the Atheros chips. In fact even Windows is failing to recognize it properly and only the Bluetooth Suite from Atheros...

AzureWave NB037H (WiFi+BT Combo) with Kext

Nevermind, just found out about the horrible AR3011 "compatibility". Back to Belkin for me ;)

AzureWave NB037H (WiFi+BT Combo) with Kext

Hi, first of all, thanks for the kext, it activated my BT and WiFi interfaces, which is more than I've managed on my own ;) Unfortunately with your kext I don't get any multitouch, or to be more precise, whenever a multitouch gesture is triggered the mouse freezes as the interface reactivates...

List of Confirmed Radeon HD 7xxx Series (10.8.3+)

Oh no, no, that's definitely not what I mean :) In normal operation on the Mac this card is very quiet, and the card fans are very low. In fact well below 20%, but in my case - it's still far louder than any other component of my machine. I've got the new Corsair RM series power supply - that...

List of Confirmed Radeon HD 7xxx Series (10.8.3+)

Damn that'd be nice, I'm running h80i on my cpu. the r9 is the loudest component, otherwise my pc is whisper quiet.

List of Confirmed Radeon HD 7xxx Series (10.8.3+)

That's a really nice card, but I hope you're ready for the noise, trust me... this thing is at full load like a jet engine.

List of Confirmed Radeon HD 7xxx Series (10.8.3+)

I'm on Mavericks 10.9 and I didn't have to do anything except to disable my integrated GPU, period. No workarounds. Hillariously... It took me over 2 hours to get it to run stable in windows... as a tip 13.11 beta driver is spectacularly awful, if you're running windows go straight for the one...

List of Confirmed Radeon HD 7xxx Series (10.8.3+)

I'm positively surprised. My R9 280x works OOB, no kext editing, no nothing. Everything works from boot onward, integrated GPU is now entirely off. The only setting I kept from my original HD4600 setup was the forced initial resolution of 1080p (not even sure whether this is necessary, but it...

List of Confirmed Radeon HD 7xxx Series (10.8.3+)

Well to hell with it - I needed a new card anyway (BF4 yeah baby), so I'll be testing this problem myself in a couple of days. I bought the Asus R9 280x DCu2 top, basically the "new" 7970 GHz edition, although not everyone is certain this is truly a 1:1 chip as there is apparently an...

List of Confirmed Radeon HD 7xxx Series (10.8.3+)

Has anyone tried the new R9 series? Seeing how R9 280x is the same card as 7970 am I right assuming that they should work without any issue with maybe the exception of modifying the kext for the new deviceIDs?
