Of course just :
first u must convert it from .PNG tp .ICNS (free program like img2icns) ...
then replace the ICNS files into icons folder inside theme folder ... (u must rename the new icons with the same names in "icons" folder )
if you means "no bios post" in PC world it's impossible; but I read somethings in web about using old PCI video card (without connected to the screen) connect the screen to the PCIE G.Card .. (in bios you must make the PCI is the default ...) (I'm not test that ....)
if you mean fast OSX boot...
