@Raftrix86,
I see that you are using After effects and premiere pro - I use Hackintoshes for more than a decade. but I'm thinking of switching back to windows because of Adobe after effects performs better with NVIDIA GPU's what are your thoughts? I understand that you had Radeon VII and now...
Same problem here. Its not a Hackintosh thing. I saw this issue in a REAL mac pro that uses GTX 680
It has to do with CUDA drivers and apple.
Its a known bug (for years now) that neither nvidia nor apple wont resolve.
Assholes.
I also suffer from this issue and havent found a fix for that yet...
OMG! Do you see what I see! it so happens to be that WINDOWS got ROUND EDGES icon FIRST!
Windows version 1 had round edge logo!!!
They can SUE apple ! :)
BTW If you do gain access to GTX 285 - you are good to go OOB on 10.6.8!!!!
Its NVIDIA most supported CUDA CARD for hackintosh IMO
and it works good.
I still use it.
Well Actually no.
All the GTX 5xx etc are not supperted on SnowLeo
the GTX 4xx series are problematic for Snow.
So I decided to go on ATI Radeon 6870.
but it turned out that I couldnt run 10.6.8 on the MoBo I chose (GA-Z68XP-UD3)
So I went on Lion 10.7.4 install.
Using UniBeast and MultiBeast...
Hi all,
I'm building a hack Pro video editing (Avid Premiere After effects FCPX)
I'm looking for a recent CUDA supporting card that will work OOB or be easy to setup.
Such as GTX 285 that I have, I would by the 285 but its of shelves...
Can you please recommend and it need to run on 10.6.8
Running Snow Leo Because the better support stability for pro Apps
I'm a video editor using Adobe PS Premiere After effects & FCP 7 & X.
We'll give Lion some more time then move to a more stable ver.
Something like that?
http://www.creativetechs.com/iq/leopard_disk_utility_can_resize_partitions.html
This I'll guess will work with GUID only - what if I have MBR?
I want to increase the Partition size.
Is there a way? a Program? anything?
I don't matter deleting the other partitions - as long as the system partition will be bigger
thanks!
