NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (387.10.10.10.40)

Does anyone know if 387.10.10.10.40.122 supports dual video cards?

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (387.10.10.10.40)

It's only the potential "death of Hackintosh" for systems running dual Nvidia GPU's. It might also have something to do with Apple's move towards external AMD eGPU's. There are users running Nvidia eGPU's in High Sierra via modded drivers. There's got to be a way to compare 378.10.10.10.25.106...

Same here: updated to 10.13.6, installed 387.10.10.10.40, no OpenGL, reverted back to patched 378.10.10.10.25.106. If this isn't fixed in 10.14, I guess I'll go back to Sierra.

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 (387.10.10.10.35)

I thought it worked with a single GPU (most systems). Are you using NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext and Lilu.kext?

Updated to 10.13.5, installed 387.10.10.10.35, and the result was no OpenGL–didn't even bother testing CUDA. Went back to patched 378.10.10.10.25.106. :(

Running this command in terminal will install/patch version 378.10.10.10.25.106: (as of now, this is the last driver to support dual GFX cards) bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Benjamin-Dobell/nvidia-update/master/nvidia-update.sh) 378.10.10.10.25.106

I just installed CUDA 396.64, and it runs fine while using the patched *25.106 web drivers. Tested via CUDA compute in Geekbench. Still waiting for the day I don't have to use old patched drivers to get fully-functional (OpenGL) dual GPUs in High Sierra.

I have a feeling the script needs to be updated or something as 30.107 just came out. It seems like 30.106 is the most functional for those who are using one GPU (most people), but for the few of us that are running dual GPUs, 25.106 is the closest thing to fully functional on High Sierra.

nvidia-update... Hope it's not the case, but I'm starting to worry that *25.106 will be the last fully functional driver to support dual GPUs.

FYI - Latest *30.107 still breaks OpenGL on my dual GFX card hack. Reverting back to patched *25.106... sigh.

PCIe bandwidth shouldn't be an issue, and I'm not running them in SLI. My mobo is more than cable of running these two cards. Also, they've always worked fine in Windows and El Cap. xpzone has the exact same issue with running two 1070's, but one works fine for him. I need all the CUDA cores for...

Are you using two GPUs? The two latest versions work great for me if I remove one of my GTX 980 Ti's.
