[HELP] Entroware Apollo - Battery, Power detection issue

Fix caused a kernel panic. For now the most stable EFI is the one I posted earlier on but unfortunately sleep/wake and shutdown is an issue so working on it.

[HELP] Entroware Apollo - Battery, Power detection issue

Redid the USBMap to my new setting. Followed what you mentioned and got a kernel panic and didn't boot up so had to revert to my backup which I attached previously and managed to get back in to MacOS. There are a few fixes mentioned on the following guide that I am trying to see if those issues...

[HELP] Entroware Apollo - Battery, Power detection issue

Tried everything you mentioned but the issue occurred again and this time after booting the cpu has been throttling like crazy. Attaching the debug OC version that I am using on my USB to fix this issue.

[HELP] Entroware Apollo - Battery, Power detection issue

I can swap them out but the battery won't work properly with VirtualSMC. I did however connect it to an external display and saw that the extension of th desktop appears on the external display so it's probably to do with the boot args I have in place or perhaps something in my display settings...

[HELP] Entroware Apollo - Battery, Power detection issue

Thanks for the assist. I already have the USBMap set and the quirk disabled but as soon as I close the lid and open it back up the screen stays blank. The only difference is that I was using virtualsmc before and now fakesmc. I tried my older EFI with virtualsmc and closing the lid and opening...

[HELP] Entroware Apollo - Battery, Power detection issue

Working fine now with the battery and charging and the overall power management. Had to migrate to FakeSMC and ACPIBatteryManager for that which broke the sleep/wake functions so that's something I need to work on as well now.

Hey, yes I was referring to that. Give it a try and see if you boot into Mac recovery and take it from there. Once you have it installed then you can sort out the rest of the issues after

Try this EFI, I have made modifications and removed unnecessary kexts. Other issues you can work out once you have everything booted and installed. Make sure you use makeinstall.bat to install catalina on your USB and drag and drop this EFI in the boot partition but delete what is there to begin...

Ok so keep in mind this is using a laptop chipset so you will have to follow that guide. I'll create the EFI for you and will upload it and you can give it a try then and let me know if it works.

Did you run Aida64? Have a look at your hardware and see what needs to be added. It seems like a simple build to be honest but there might be some issues with your bios settings as well. Grab the hardware report from Aida64 and post it, it should give us an idea of why this is happening. You...
